I think what I like best about photography is being able to take a step back to see the myriad tiny bits of glory all around us. I'm not talking about the Grand Canyon or Niagra Falls, which, of course, both are amazing. I'm talking about the little things: dew on the grass glistening in the golden early morning sunlight, this plant sending tendrils winding up the fence to get more light or how a heavy rain pounds patterns onto your windshield that disappear in a moment. These are the things we often take for granted, things we should be thankful for and things we often are just going through our day too quickly to appreciate.

8/1/2017 - Borrowed Green Thumb
Helping a friend tend their garden this week and I've gotten some delicious fresh produce out of the deal. Tonight's dinner rocked home grown cucumber, bell pepper and tomatoes. Delicious!
