I used to have a hammock just like this. It sat is my parent shed for ages while I was in college and grad school and ended up rusting to bits since it was hung on a huge metal frame. I miss it so.

can you knit one?
I'd have to knit with the biggest needles on the planet! Actually, I guess I could weave one, but I really don't have anywhere to hang it :(
I'm pretty sure the knitting directions involve drinking Corona. It's a hammock requirement.
